Vitamins - are they worth it?

And if so, can you recommend a good one? I’m mid-30’s, have a fairly good diet and I’m not overweight. But I’m finding I’m very tired a lot, and wondering if a good multivitamin might help?

I know some people say they just make expensive urine but, even though I eat healthily, I felt like a new woman a week after starting these.

tiredness could be down to a few reasons.
vit d3 or iron deficiencies are very common causes.
I take vit d3 daily and iron during my period (am prone to anaemia confimed by blood tests)

Would you not be better telling the gp and getting bloods done?

Mine revealed my tiredness was due to lack of iron, b12, and folic acid. I’d never have known otherwise. Although I did have heavy periods then so that probably explains the anaemia.

Magnesium is worth taking as lots of people are deficient due to the state of our soil.

Also vitamin D in the winter is a must

I think with intensive farming methods, and processed foods our diets aren’t as nutritious as they ought to be.

If it’s expensive urine so be it.

Identify your deficiency and target that one with a single vitamin.
Have bloods done and make sure to test your omega 3 index as well.
