Physio\occ health people, back support

Just after lockdown I hurt my lower back and have spent most of lockdown in bed unable to move much. I was given loads of pain relief, including Oromorph, a commode (absolute boon!) and altobether the NHS was brilliant.

Now I am more or less back on my feet, but I can't stand for too long, so cooking supper, for instance is a bit of a trial and my back huts so much that I have to go to bed.

I've poken to a physio on the phone and she said that so long as I only use it when I really need it, I could wear a support belt (he explained about wasting muscles if I wear it too much and so on - I do know the dangers as I also have ms, and refused a wheelchair when an attack years ago mea nt I couldn't really feel my legs).

Anyway, doany of you have larticularly good\bad experience with a particular support belt? There seem to be quite a few and I just don't know which to choose!

Advice v welcome, thank you.

The site of injury is about an inch below my waist.

Sorry for typos, the Fire is horrible to type on.
