Dd in early twenties has been home from uni since the start of lockdown.
The other day I noticed that she looked like she’d lost weight, so she weighed herself and found she was 62kg.
This was quite surprising as she thought she weighed 68/69kg (she’s been on the chubby side since she was a teenager) - although she doesn’t remember when she last weighed herself.
Since lockdown, she’s been eating far less crap food than she would normally - she’d often go to Pret/Starbucks, drink sugary fruit juice, get chocolate from Sainsbury’s virtually everyday.
With the shops being closed, she’s obviously stopped doing that. She hasn’t been exercising regularly though, and does still eat quite a lot, albeit less crap.
Could the cutting out regular chocolate/crisps/fruit juice etc account for 6kg of weight loss by itself?
Or should she be contacting her GP?
