Possible low blood sugar symptoms

So..
I'm aware that I need to seek medical advice and will be doing so, but just wondered if anyone had any advice for tonight
So about lunchtime today- after only having a slice of toast and a couple of bottles of water (which is normal for me) I started feeling really awful, light headed, shaky, dizzy, wobbly legs, pounding headache and racing heart. It got steadily worse the rest of the day. Didn't think much of it, although it's never happened before-it's time of the month (a very heavy one too) so thought it was connected to that. Just didn't feel myself at all. Was sleepy too, and very thirsty. Went to work; felt worse as the evening wore on and about 8pm got home had a drink of water and ate a chocolate chip cookie, within ten minutes all the previous symptoms totally disappeared and since then have felt fine- totally confused..
Could this be low blood sugar? Any advice please

yes it could be.
all.sounds like symptoms and the fact it improved after eating.
warm weather can cause blood sugar issues.
if happens again might be worth a gp visit

Sounds like it. Just eat more regular meals and if the same thing happens eat a snack.

I do try to eat regularly but was just so busy today didn't have time really, Ive cut out sugar (mostly) from my diet over the last two weeks but until today have felt fine so unsure if that's connected..just strange how after the cookie I felt normal again

I get this if I don't eat mid morning or late afternoon. But it happens several hours later so hard to pinpoint to low blood sugar. i just have to eat a biscuit or something and it goes. But not nice at the time.

Dehydation affects it too. Dehyradation starts 24 hrs before. If you had a very active day or were out in the sun a lot the day before, and sweated a lot, the next day you might feel the affects.
So keep that in mind and 'top up' food and water if you did something particularly active. They sell glucose tablets in pharmacies which are handy to keep in your bag if you can't get your hands on some food in a hurry.

could be. but also could be electrolyte imbalance. especially in hot weather.

try drinking a cup of hot water with a little stock powder/marmite/bovril.
