Weird spots on feet (pic included)

I have had dry feet for a few years that sometimes get a bit itchy. But I'm starting to get weird white spots that get unbearably itchy with no trigger and then they turn red.

I also get white spots that aren't itchy but are just bits of dry skin.

I don't want to make a doctors appointment if it's not completely necessary so does anybody have any idea what this might be or how I can help?

I've tried piriton for when I'm itchy and different types of moisturiser which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't! They look a bit disgusting though so want to get it fixed!

Pomphylox not sure how it's spelled! Dishydrotic eczema.

Itchy patches, may get little bubbles, may get slightly dark. Then when they dry up they turn scaly.

Occasionally you get large deep blisters, intensely itchy, that gradually get closer to the surface.

It's a mystery why or what to do, to be honest. Don't scratch or itch no matter how gently as it it just gets worse and spreads.

Definitely dyshidrotic eczema. I have it. Started on hands and feet but only hands for the past 10yrs. I don't get it so much anymore as I learnt what my triggers are. Stress, antibacterial soap in my case.

Thank you so much. Is there any cream that you can recommend to stop flare ups?

Hydrocortisone when it starts, just very thin layer.

It's heat and sweat related, so try and stay cool.

Don't use greasy creams as they trap the heat and sweat and make it worse (not a scientific explanation, just what I experience!).
Go for cooling lotions, things you keep in the fridge and then your foot absorbs them quite quickly. Oil of Ulay used to be nice years ago.

I bet aloe gel would be nice...

Key thing, don't itch. Mine had totally cleared up, then the arch of my foot started itching and itching. I've ended up with swathes of peeling skin there that's a vicious circle. If I leave it alone it heals up but it's thick skin so it itches and splits again. If I pick at it it just gets deeper. Pah.

I know it's not what it is made for but I've found that lamisil (for athletes foot) works for me to stop the itching.
I've got a patch on one foot right where my sandle strap is. Driving me nuts.

Yep the dreaded pompy. I can’t recommend anything other than try to keep the area cool and dry and learn what triggers it for you.
Stress or heat/sunshine does it for me.
Wearing cotton socks weirdly seems to help. When it appears on my hands I don’t use cream as I find that makes it even worse.

No creams helped me. The only thing that did was catching it right before it came out, I could feel it 2 days before anything visible showed. So a few drops of 100% natural lavender essential oil in warm water, soak hands/feet twice a day for 2-3 days, don't rinse just dry them. I found doing that stopped it coming out at all.
