Hi just wondering if anyone can give me any thoughts.

I work as a cleaner in a care home and I am always on my feet. I was rushing about as I was a bit behind and all of a sudden I went light headed and felt really dizzy, almost like I was going to faint. Bare in mind that I had nothing eat all that day only a cup of tea on my break. But I’m so used to going without food for a while so I’m not sure if it’s because of that. I got really hot and flushed in the face. I was so close to going home but I only had an hour to go so thought I would Just work through it. Felt slightly better when got home but iv had dizziness before As I seem to get every so now and then and it always lasts A few hours or most the day. It’s just never happened when iv been a work so I felt terrible trying to carry on.

Today still don’t feel 100% but just very very tired and exhausted..

Yes it could be. I only take them for pain relief for my Jaw pain iv been on them for quite a few months but I will start taking them exact same time see if that improves. They are testing me for vit D definciancy tomorrow as iv had 2 days of crying and feeling depressed when iv got no reason to be depressed if you know what I mean. Along with the tiredness. My mood has lifted now but the tirdness and no energy still hits me a bit in the day so I can’t wait to see what that comes back as.

And to be honest I never suffered with any dizziness before ever taking them , and I do sometimes take one at 8 then next night at 10 so yeah will start taking them every night at 8 now See if makes a difference

Worth a try, definitely.

Glad you're having vit D test too, I don't know much about vit d deficiency but ive seen people on here describe how rotten it made them feel

Try making sure you are drinking at least 2 litres of water a day and a lot before mid day. i was having similar issues and after all tests ruled out other items, the doc advised this as it stabilises blood pressure and dizzyness. worked for me :)

Yes I spoke to a doctor over the phone and she was saying I need it done cause all the symptoms sounds like that, especially if you have never took any supplements in your life which I haven’t... should come back tomorrow so I will update on here.

So be interesting see what that says, but today I feel a lot better a lot more energy not really that tired just what I can describe as like a tension headache.

Yeah I definitely need drink more water I have been doing a lot since I lost my appetite a bit but il keep it up x

How are you lately OP?x

Mummyof2dc · 08/07/2020 22:02

@FirstTimeMother88 I’m doing a lot better than I was thanks. Tiredness went And iv got a lot more energy . Since all tests come back fine iv put it down to the ad’s I was taking so stopped them Completely I went cold turkey on them haven’t took them for 2 weeks but I didn’t realise how bad the withdrawal symptoms were (my own fault as your meant to wean off them). I had no reason to be stressed/depressed and as anxious as I was Which looking back now would of caused the symptoms i had. so I honestly now believe it was them. But hopefully another week they be out my system for good. I took the as pain relief for tmj which I can manage a lot better now so no reason to continue anyway. Thanks for asking x
