How bad can back teeth get?

DD is 22 months and seems to have a lot of teeth except the very back ones. She has had very runny nappies over the last few days and is a little bit off form.
Anyway, she has been sick since yesterday afternoon, brought up her breakfast and late last night brought up her dinner.
She asked for milk this morning and has had nothing since then and doesn't want anything. Her nose is runny and she's sneezing a lot. I'm worried that the nappies weren't her teeth at all that it may be a bug.
No temp and she is trying to be in good form but.....
I'm wondering if anyones dc have had bugs were they are not vommiting constantly, just now and again.

mine have all had a bug this week. affected us all slightly differently... but your dd seems to fit the pattern.

passes pretty quickly, thankfully.

I think it may be in my house, I was sick on Thursday night and although I'm ok now I still don't feel 100% iykwim. Last time she was really sick it turned out to be an ear infection which lasted over a week and a half.

VM i've just been through this.
ds not himself. pulling at ear. sick 2 nights in a row.
put it down to back molars.

Had a moment of uncertainty so took him to GP...turns out he has tonsillitis

Oh god that's bad. Might see how she is tomorrow and if she's still off I'll bring to the doctor on call. It would be a Sunday or course!
When she had the ear infection we had 8 nights of her vommitting, it was very stressful because there wasn't anything we could do for her. Bags under my eyes doubled in size that week!

If it is a bug you should see some improvement tomorrow. Typical that it's a sunday. nothing's ever easy!

I know. Are your nights still sleepless?

sorry VM just getting back to mn now.
Yes are nights are still sleepless. I'm a founding member of the sleep is for the weak thread don't ya know!
I'm ashamed to say my ds is 20m and still wakes through the night

You poor thing I had to leave that thread because I felt so guilty. DD started sleeping a lot better for us, she had been sick that time and had just developed a habit of waking every night.
We tend to have about 5 nights of the week were we aren't up, sometimes more but nothing like it used to be. If she gets up she comes into our bed and goes back to sleep. Although I did find myself downstairs at four in the morning the week before last. It was just easier to get up.
It's hard hard work!

glad it was just a blip for you. TBH he's getting alot better. he only wakes for a few minutes and is easily reassured so it's not a major pita but obviously we would prefer the 12 hour straight option!

VeronicaMars · 22/09/2007 20:31

Oh I don't get twelve hours unfortunatley, I only get ten. And if she sleeps more than an hour during the day then forget it, she won't go to bed until at least nine.
She didn't sleep today because she was so miserable so she went up at seven which means I might be mning at five tomorrow morning!
