Hey everyone,
Would love some advice!
We have A 6 year old and a miscarriage Over 3 years ago. Have been trying To conceive but no pregnancy since my miscarriage back In 2017.
Last Month my period came 6/7 days later and it's never late! But did eventually get 1 on the 1st of April.
We are now on 10 of May and I haven't had one,
I've got period cramps, painful and uncomfortable bloated feeling, slightly sore breasts..
I'm sick of doing pg test n seeing that negative on there, really upsetting
I'm also 43 hubby is much younger.
Menopause or pregnancy or something else!
Any advice would be appreciated

There's a thread in coronavirus where many are experiencing late / wonky periods. It's thought to be stress related - it can take a month or two to impact.

Or take a test! Mine a wonky as I'm bf at 43 but a friend's have gone completely haywire, she's not had one for a few months now so it could be peri menopause.

A good way to tell is to track cycles with a thermometer and cervical mucus; you can tell what your fertility is doing from this.

My period started to go wonky at 42. It was the start of the perimenopause. I too had been TTC after a miscarriage. I went into full menopause 3 years later.

Thank you guys!
Well I did test yesterday was negative!
And somebody else did say since the whole covid things, made their period go off track!
Can I still get pregnant you think even through I have not started my period?

There's a book called "it starts with the egg" (though it's about the sperm too!) with good advice for ttc over 40. And there's a fair few ttc over 40 threads in conception.

Certain supplements can help improve fertility and also I'm currently trying seed cycling to help regulate mine. I must say I've noticed a difference in my skin so far; it's been one month. Any changes to cycle take 3 months though; it takes around that long for a an egg to mature and hormones to be impacted.

Yes it's possible for you to get pregnant as the body can start throwing out eggs randomly. Beware twins!

I have the book actually, am half way through.
Feel a little overwhelmed with what's the right thing to try on there
Well twins will do lol haha
Got excited as I thought I started my period...makes no sense as I'm having all the symptoms but nothing....
Not heard of seed cyclin, will read about that. Xx
