Piles... any suggestions?

I have had a small external one before, usually 2 days of discomfort and pop some cream on it - gone soon.

But recently it’s got worse, bigger and for longer. I thought it was going and it’s come back. I am now completely miserable about it and so uncomfortable

What product is best? Any helpful advice for me Sad

I take laxatives for a few days when mine are really bad.

I feel your pain.

I started with piles over Christmas, never had them before. I ended up seeing my GP who prescribed the ointment and suppositories you've been prescribed and they cleared up.

I've started with them again now too (maybe more sitting down) & had a telephone appointment with my GP last week, got the same prescription again and it really does work.

Think this may be an ongoing thing now into my mid 50's. It's the most excruciating feeling, the itching and pain is terrible

I’m sorry you are struggling too! This stuff is bloody magic though! Honestly the pain is so much better

Just adding in case it helps anyone else suffering - I called my GP after suffering in agony too. She prescribed Uniroid cream. Huge relief, and no side effect of horrible headache. I was a bit stupid and didn't call straight away but wish I had. Is it usual for thrombosed ones to take forever to subside? Thanks for all advice on this thread. Interesting that GPs are seeing a rise in this problem due to us all sitting down more!

Ok so it’s what 5 days into scheriproct and although no pain, it’s still there! I am not sure it has shrunk at all. And I don’t think you should use this stuff for more than 7 days. So now I don’t know what to do!

Keep going! Mine took 2 weeks to shrink.

mrssunshinexxx · 24/05/2020 09:43

How are you op?
I am 36 weeks pregnant with a thrombosed one it's agony and DREADING labour due to this

Menora · 24/05/2020 15:43

So it got smaller but didn’t go away
Doesn’t hurt anymore
Still there though
So think I need someone to look at it now. What if it’s not a pile?

Once the Doctors are seeing patients again I'd make an appointment with your GP to get checked out
