Fall, cut, open wound, dirt

I tripped over my own feet while walking and fell flat on the ground. My hands got the brunt of the fall. There's no fracture. There's no bleeding. The cut is not deep. Just skin has peeled away. I rinsed under a tap. The area has dirt embedded on it. I used some cotton ear bud tips and that helped.

Is there anything else I can do to wash the cut. Get rid of the black pieces.

If you are still worried ask your local pharmacist to have a look at it/recommendation. They should be happy to help but it may have to be outside the pharmacy. It's not an embarrassing issue to discuss though so that shouldn't be a problem

Your arm is stiff because you've had a fall. You need to soak the graze/wash your hair through the soreness. I used to get my children to submerge scraped knees in the bath and count to 10. The nasty ouch soreness disappeared by 4, then the warm slightly soapy water did the rest as far as cleaning the wound.
You don't seem to have punctured your skin, I'm sure tetanus risk would be very low.
