Wondered if there was anyone around for a bit of advice.

I accidentally spilt boiling water on it last night (dam chocolate egg nests 😭) and it has blistered up quite badly and was very sore...thankfully not so much now!

I’m not particularly wanting to go to minor injuries for obvious reasons, though will if have to and wondered (and hoping) can treat at home, just for today.

Advice online quite conflicting, some sites saying burst blister with sterilised needle, other saying leave, vasoline and bandage, keep dry, wash with warm soapy water...

Ironically the reason I misjudged the sink and spilt on foot was DH and DC were watching a film and I didn’t want the kitchen light glare to ruin so I was trying bake with just the fairy light on...serves me right for being kind.

Wahh feeling very sorry for myself! 😭

What would everyone recommend?

Thank you all for your kind words and advice. ❤️

Was seen very quickly and glad I was, needed the blisters drained, removed, (ouchy) cleaned and dressed and back again for the next few days

Isn’t is funny’s as mums we would move mountain and earth to see our DC seen, treated and feeling better but when it comes to ourselves we want the least possible fuss.

Sitting with my foot propped up, a “refill” bell and my lovely DC near and feeling a lot better.
