My son was playing on a trampoline last night and another child accidentally trod on his elbow pushing his arm down. He can move it and move his fingers but he says it still hurt him this morning before school.

Yes you can but it is usually very painful. Worth getting it checked.

is it swollen? Did he sleep ok?

depending on age children can get something called a pulled elbow. basically the muscle comes out of alignment. the hosp can put it back and releif is instant.

if he manages the whole day at school without much problem, the he's probably ok.

dd fell on her elbow and after xray etc, was told it was all ok... a few days later she was still complaining of it being sore and I had it xrayed again privately, only to be told it was fractured after all...trust your instincts and get it checked out if in doubt
