Is it classed as an emergency?

Long post and detail sorry.
My local doctors surgery today announced that they will no longer take on the day appointments unless they are an emergency. This seems reasonable and totally understandable to me. However...
For the last few months I've been getting cramps and pains in my lower abdomen and in my hip just before I'm due on. This month (18 days ago) my hip was in so much pain it had me in tears. Then I bled, which was 5 days early for me (very unusual). I then stopped bleeding after 4 days for a day and came on as normal with the usual cramps etc. I'm now one week post period and have been in a lot of pain today with bloated feeling and cramps and this evening started light bleeding again.
I'm really concerned and I know I should have visited the doctor sooner but with 4 kids a job and so much going on (plus I'm worried what it might be) I've stupidly put off going. But with the bleeding and pains today I know I can't put it off any more.
Would I get told off for wasting the doctors time if I tried to get an appointment Monday?
Should I leave it and wait until this virus calms down?
Sorry I know this sounds like a selfish post I'm just not sure what to do.
I should add I had the copper coil fitted 12 months ago and haven't had any problems with it but maybe it could be related to that.

I would call for medical advice, if it's not normal for you and you are bleeding and in pain you are best to seek help.

Of course Yanbu, call your gp, this I’m sure is the kind of situation a gp would refer to as an “emergency”, don’t forget a gp emergency appointment isn’t the same as an a&e one. What they mean is don’t call for appointments that are routine or something that could be checked by a pharmacist. Hope you feel better soon

Thank you both for your replies. I will call on Monday
