I've heard this is good for migraine prevention and anxiety. I need help with both! Just wondering what others experiences with it are? Many thanks

I stated on 10mg for migraine prevention and it has worked brilliantly. I don't take it for anxiety but I have noticed as a side effect that my anxiety has reduced massively. I have had to up my dose now to help with other unrelated nerve pain. If you are concerned about morning grogginess I would suggest taking it earlier in the evening. If I know I have to be up earlier I take it earlier as it does make me feel tired in the mornings. Good luck!

I take 10mg every evening for bladder sensitivity which was causing sleep problems. I was previously getting up every 2 hours in the night to do a tiny pee, and then struggling to drop back off. After a couple of weeks on amitriptylene I started sleeping for 6 hour stretches which has been amazing. Even during the day the effect on my bladder remains and I can go much longer without peeing.

I haven't had any bad side effects - a little more tired in the morning but better since I started taking it at 7pm rather than 8pm. I think my mood is a little better too Smile
