Anyone know about burns? Gross pics included

I had laser treatment on thread veins on my face on Monday and have been burnt Sad

The first pic is from Tuesday and the 2nd tonight. The bigger burn by my nose is now really crusted over. It isn't very sore, but I think scabs on burns can lead to scarring? Any advice on what I should do?

Look at NHS Direct advice on burns, or talk to your surgeon? Didn't they give you advice on what to expect?

Not a medical person but my boss was badly burned in a barbecue & petrol incident. The Burns Unit advised that once he'd left them, E45 & Vit E oil daily would prevent scarring. HTH. It did seem to work when we saw the v grisly before & afters (tho obv way worse than yours) .

Looks a bit like Impetigo, a bacterial infection, rather than scarring? Google ir and see what you think?

Looks like a superficial burn to me, so nothing to get too concerned about but certainly worth complaining to the company you got the treatment from as it would be the sort of burn youd get from boiling water, steam or gas flames

Yeah, I think she used too strong a setting. I probably should complain. The scab feels huge, but I realise it isn't really!

The NHS website suggest I should have sought medical attention and doesn't give much clue as to what I should do at this stage. I'll just wait, I guess.

E45 and vit E oil sounds sensible, I'll try that.

ThanksFlowers

Scanning is a good sign as it means your skin is healing the area - i wouldn't use too much creams etc.. as the scabs need to stay dry to do their thing. Only use the topical stuff if you're struggling with pain (From a community First Reaponder)

Scabbing* not scanning
