Best very supportive bras for after lumpectomy & reduction & lift?

Having breast surgery next week for a lumpectomy, and the surgeon is also giving me a therapeutic reduction mammoplasty on affected boob, then will do other boob in three months after radiotherapy.

I have been told I will need to wear a very supportive, front fastening bra immediately after surgery and for next 4 weeks.

Any recommendations would be very welcome. Oh and what size??? I am currently a 34G but after surgery will have one boob roughly a 34D for three months before 2nd boob reduced and lifted.

So do I buy a 34G bra or 34D? Thank you x

Stella McCartney surgery bras are supposed to be good.

I’ve been looking at this too, I’m also a 34G. The choices above a C/D cup for front fastening styles do seem very few (sadly Stella McCartney only does small cup sizes).

M&S do have a good selection of post op bras including front fastening which have pockets for prostheses (possibly one solution to the temporary cup size mismatch?). I also looked at the Nicola Jane website and at brands like Anita and Royce that supposedly specialise in these things, but again, little to no choice that isn’t restricted to small cup sizes!

If you find anything better than M&S please do let me know...

My friend who had a breast reduction said the Asda post surgery bras were great as very comfortable and so stretchy they just adjust with you

Have a look at Macom bra's.
You buy back size and it moulds to whatever cup size you are.
Very comfy.

M&S also have a front fastening sports bra for post surgery which would be very supportive. I'd think that a 34G would still be very supportive to your D side, esp with swelling

Make sure you go out a back size or two for swelling.

I had a reduction a few years ago and my surgeon provided the bra so I’m afraid I can’t help (they were over £100 each then) but I’ve heard good reports of the Asda ones x
