Aching boob - should I be worried

Hi all, my boob has been aching. Should I be worried, or is just hormonal?

Menopausal symptoms?

I get this occasionally. It lasts for weeks then just disappears. No idea what causes it, hormone fluctuations probably. Am 45.

Have this as I type! Its coming g from a trapped nerve in my neck, c5 and radiating around to my boob, so annoying

I've had it before, for days or weeks on end. Once or twice I have been to the GP and been checked out, all fine. More recently, I was going through a painful patch when my routine mammogram became due. It was so painful to touch, I had special treatment at the test. All was fine. Conclusion: painful breasts sometimes happen for no apparent reason. But get yourself checked if you are worried.

I’ve had all sorts of breast pain the last two years since I’ve been peri menopausal. Ranging from constant dull ache to sharp stabbing pains. GP says it’s normal, has done a breast exam....not due another mammogram for a year I think?

I've had it in the past when I've put weight on, as I sleep on my side, and my boob would get squished. It passed. If you are worried, see your go Thanks

Sore boobs during peri-menopause are very common. HRT sorted it for me. If you're concerned, you should absolutely book a mammogram to give you peace of mind. Better to be safe than sorry.

Please do get pain checked out - you won't be wasting anyone's time.

My painful breast did turn out to be something that needed treatment. There was a lump too, although I didn't notice it for some time.
