To think this is a symptom of breast cancer? (Picture)

I've noticed I have this dimpling on both of my breasts. I always thought it was stretch marks because I've had it for ages but I saw a post yesterday with a woman who had similar and people were urging her to go to the doctor because it looks like dimpling so I'm a tad worried.

I have included a picture where I've sort of pushed the dimpling together so its not usually this indented. Its above the nipple and on both breasts.

Do I need an appointment?

Thankyou everyone it is reassuring that they look like stretch marks to you! If I get any other symptoms or any lumps etc. I think I will go to the doctors. Thanks for your comments and help.

Stretch marks I think

I have them on my breasts and had breast cancer 3 years ago and as a result have 6 monthly mammogram and ultrasound checks. My breast care nurses have never had any concerns about my stretch marks.

Get yourself checked just for piece of mind but I'm sure you'll be fine

The dimpling to worry about is like orange peel isn't it?

That's not what dimpling looks like, they are stretch marks. I've seen lots of dimpling in hospital and that isn't it. But go to GP anyway and get your mind put at rest or it will bother you all the time.

That looks like stretch marks rather than dimpling and both mine look like that. See the GP if you're concerned thought.

After second breastfed baby that's exactly why I've got. Dumpling is more like orange skin I think.

The suspicious dimpling is known as P'eau D'orange (orange skin). I wouldn't say yours looks like that

I would absolutely get checked as it has worried you but as soon as I opened it I thought 'stretch marks'

I have these too. Also mine have been checked by a breast surgeon as I had periductal ectasia.
However yes get checked just to check.

They look like stretch marks to me.

I would say as its on both breasts and has been there for a long time, if it's not changed it's not anything sinister.

However if you are worried or you noticed changes in the marks there's no harm in getting it checked.

Agreed - those are stretch marks for sure, I've had those since breast feeding. But no harm to make a non urgent GPs appointment just to put your mind at rest.

Mine also look like this and have done for years. I always assumed the were stretch marks also. However, if you're worried I would just make an appointment to get checked and put your mind at rest - otherwise, if you're like me, you'll just worry excessively or it'll constantly be in the back of your mind.

I’m worried what do people think I have this line I’ve not seen before not my stretch marks just this one it only appears when I lift my arm could it be cancer

Please tell me i have these strech marks on arpit axillary area of breast but these are white lines i have done weight loss is this due to it i am 24 second thing i have some pain in side breast muscles and also on back side ribs muscles against brests. But only when pain when i Touch. Plzz guide me
