tips for (suspected) sinus infection?

I am struggling massively with what i assume is a sinus infection, i know you all are not doctors but as my doctors are a 3 week wait and i honestly can't get to the walk-in centre i would appreciate if you have any home remidies/tips to treat this?

Symptoms are as follows.. running nose, then blocked nose, tight/heavy/full feeling around top of nose and eyes, headaches, temperature of 39, aches on body and sore throat.

I need this gone asap but health services in my area are very hard to access and i dont drive so would cost me £25 in taxis to walk in, which i cannot afford.

Any tips or remidies would be amazing, thank you!

Does it hurt more when you tip your head forward? This is a classic symptom of blocked sinus. If this is the case you may need antibiotics.

Try running the shower on the hottest setting and closeting the door. Sit in there for 20 minutes a couple of times a day to breath in the steam.

Paracetamol every 4hrs. Plenty of Luke warm water and rest.

Hope you feel better soon x

I get them quite often and try to stay away from get too many antibiotics, I started taking nelson remedies, kali birch, it helps with the pain and seems to loosen the mucus. I also rub vicks on, top of eyebrows, cheekbones and round ear and neck, just a little bit on the face. Or a dollop in a bowl of hot water, towel over head and have a steam.
It's a horrible think to get, hope it clears up for you.

I believe the majority of sinus infections are viral and won't respond to antibiotics but it's worth seeing the GP to rule it out. Nobody has time for being ill but unfortunately that's life! They aren't very nice though. Some good suggestions above, steam, sleeping propped up, nasal sprays are all things that help me (I have chronic issues with them)
