Anyone know about vaccinations for Swaziland?

I am going on a brief work trip to Swaziland next month and it has occurred to me that I will need some jabs, anyone know which ones are very neccessary. I have googled it but it suggests tons of them and as I am only going to be there for 4 days I was wondering if less would be possible?
Obviously I will get the full gamut if I have to.

I've been into Swaziland from SOuth Africa and didn't get any. I am (or was - must chekc) up to date with my HipB (is that was it's called?), which is the only one I would have worried about.

We were only in overnight, staying in the Foresters Inn, so very "Western"

The only other thing I would worry abut would be malaria, as you are not far from the Kurger (albeit the Southern reaches), as the malaria risk has been moving West and South.

Thanks PB, I have never had a HipB so I will get that and anti-malarials as I don't want to risk it. I am fairly sure it will be a five-star hotel type of trip but I don't want to risk it iyswim.

It's the Hepitis A viaccination I was thinking of. Remember to go for the followup booster 6 motnhs later: that way you are covered for 10 years.

Hope it helps!

Thanks, it's all abit confusing. I think I will ask the PR company as they must be used to bringing groups out there.

Carmenere - this is the best site - I use it all the time. Fit for Travel

Its an NHS site and covers vaccinations for all countries - just pick from the drop down list

Carmenere · 23/08/2007 12:27

thanks for that Potoroo, so basically there is not a huge risk but I should go to the doc's anyhow to discuss a few things and get some anti-malarials.

Oooh lucky you - I used to live there. ah, nostalgic sigh. A perfect childhood

I do remember taking malaria tablets at certain times of year.
