What could this be on my foot?

Intensely itchy. If I scratch it, it is eye wateringly painful. It is on my instep and if it touches my shoes, it itches more. It keeps me awake at night.
I have been putting Aveeno on it, as well as Dermovate.
GP's receptionist will not entertain me having a cancellation appointment and I have to wait for a routine one, which is a week tomorrow. They will not accept a photo to see if it needs looking at sooner.
Pictures attached, 3 days apart, getting worse (in case they come up in wrong order).

Can you book a private chiropodist appointment instead of waiting a week?

It looks to me like Pompholyx I get it on my hands, the itching is ridiculous!

Have you shown it to a pharmacist?

Yep another vote for pomphlyx, or dyshidrotic eczema by its other name.

Something like betnovate or an OTC substitute will sort it out.

I was thinking eczema too.

It might be psoriasis of the feet with a secondary infection either fungal or bacterial due to the pus and itching.

I haven't seen a pharmacist, maybe that is an option and I never thought a chiropodist would cover this sort of thing.

It's not normally recommended to pop these things, in case the infection is spread.

Popping does relieve the itching though!

Looks exactly the same as when I had pompholyx ezcema. So painful but so itchy both at the same time. Mine was under and between all my toes, it was hard to even walk in the end. A pharmacist will be able to recommend a cream

Don’t pop it! Definitely recommend getting a pharmacist to take a look at it.

Book the gp appt you can always cancel later but with feet there is always a high risk of infection. I would go to a pharmacist and get them to look at it. They are a great way to get good information.
