I don't think this is ChickenPox, what else could it be?

DD3 has 4 small fluid filled blisters on her back.

They don't look as red and raised as remember chickenpox.
She has/is not unwell (although was very ill 10-14 days ago with a herpes infection)
First noticed blisters this morning. There have been no more developing since.
She has hardly been out of the house to pick up virus in last 14 days (although incubation can be up to 21 days).

These observations are all different to what I recall of DTDs chickenpox.

However she is just recovering from an oral herpes and thumb herpes infection. Could it be that? Seems unlikey to have passed this to her back via contact.

Any other suggestions? I am thinking if it is the pox she doesn't need to see GP, but might if it something else?

I suppose this will be her 3rd consecutive week off nursery [sigh]

No change at all - which kind of confirms to me that it is not chickenpox. I think it also suggests it is not the ezcema herpeticum thing Gess is talking about (but will deffinately keep an eye on it).

It fits with the Molluscum thingy - and I kind of feeli I am wasting GPs time with it if it is, but I do worry that could be something more sinister with the recent herpes thing.

If she wasn't at nursery I wouldn't worry an ounce about it as she isn't ill, and isn't bothering her. As she is at nursery I think I should confirm whether she is contagious or not before sending her back. But I do feel embaressed at the amount of time I have spent with the GP last week.

DP says "just send her to nursery they won't notice" which would make me angry if I was another parent whos child caught something off her...

lol - DH would be like that

I haven't been to the doctor in a while, and DH never goes, so just pretend you are using our turns

I got recognised in Toys r Us last week by one of the GPs at our practice , and it wasn't even the one that we had seen 4 times in 5 days!!!!

In fairness actually I usually have a good eye for what needs a GP and what doesn't. I only go if something needs to be seen by GP.
