So scared I have Parkinson's

My nan had this and a few months ago I noticed my hands would shake if was using my mouse or holding my phone in a certain way, I put this down to some kind of muscular thing, but lately I've noticed my bottom jaw feels shaky sometimes, like a little tremor, of course when I asked Dr Google the first thing that came up was Parkinson's.

I'm mid 50s, overweight and type 2 diabetic, but after seeing how Nan suffered, I'm absolutely petrified of this - I'm dodging the doctor because I'm scared of what he'll say!

Parkinson's tremors are when you are at rest I believe, not when you're using your hands. Visit your doctor though.

My hands get super shaky sometimes but it's usually just tiredness.

It's probably not, better to go get checked

The thing is the more you worry about it and the more you think it might be Parkinson’s then the more you will notice every little twitch and tremor that you wouldn’t have noticed before and there’s nothing like anxiety to cause more twitches and tremors. So, you need to see your GP and the most likely scenario is that they can put your mind at rest.

Did I ever tell you about my brain tumour? .....it was migraines!

I had this 2 years ago, turned out to be related to the menopause. Whether it was the menopause itself or a symptom of the anxiety linked to it, I'm not sure but it was very scary at the time.
