Is this significant? I know what I would say to anyone else, that woukd be to see a doctor

About once a week while walking I have a pressure in my back, I can't describe it as pain but definite pressure that eases when I stop walking.
I have an heart rate of over an hundred while resting (only just, 103)
It's been like this for a while, I know I'm being anxious, my dad had an heart attack at 40, he's dead now (unrelated ) andy grandad died of hardening of the arteries, which I think is why I'm so anxious, but surely my heart rate shouldn't be consistently this high? Never asked a doctor, scared I suppose.

You know you need a check.up, don't you.
It could be anxiety, it could be your heart, but you won't be able to relax until you know.

The pressure is more so when it is a hot day randomly , and as per the username I can be anxious and dramatic which I'm sure is why I'm thinking this! Lol

Get it checked out with your family history especially. They will put your mind at rest.

PurpleWithRed · 18/08/2019 23:34

Yes it could be anxiety, but it’s worth getting everything checked out if only to give you a tool for getting on top of the anxiety.

dramaqueenkim1984 · 18/08/2019 23:34

It's just consistently high, never been under 100 beats a minute . Which can be fine for some people. And I know that, it's just the random pressure , I def wouldnt describe it as pain, it's an heaviness where I have to stop for a couple of mins then it goes away

Im 35 , maybe I wouldn't think nothing of it if I didn't know anything of my dad's heart attack, that's probably it isn't it? It maybe because subconsciously I'm heading toward the age he had his heart attack. The pressure is definitely unrelated though, that's real and stops me from moving sometimes. I'll make an appointment with doc anyway. It's just tonight I can feel my pulse so loud! And it's fast, but it is probably anxiety.
