sudocrem has always worked instantly for such a thing for us. I do not know the received mumsnet wisdom on the subject but, it's always healed DS in two days or less and as I have excema I'm a bit wary about letting sore bits of skin go on too long.

I found the sudocream used to go manky, so put vaseline in the creases and it worked fine...

I used sudocrem too - it's good - but remeber to get it all off befor eyou put more on because4 it can be really sticky!

Tutter · 04/08/2007 21:07

you see, that's the problem escapefrom - the skin is so delicate that i think it would pull away if i tried to take the old sudocrem off before reapplying
