I do apologise about the tmi but about half an hour ago I passed wind and thought oh god that felt wet and went to the bathroom to find mucousy blood in my pants. I missed a pill this week (no I’m not pregnant) and thought I must be having a bleed from that as it’s cerazette so I don’t bleed. Had a quick shower to clean and put a sanitary towel on thinking I was going to bleed. I then get a bad stomach ache and rush to the toilet and had what I thought was diarrhoea... but all that was coming out was mucousy blood. Red blood.

Carried on with washing up, stomach ache and come back to toilet and opened my bowels this time to poo but covered in dark red blood very mucousy......

Should I be worried? No problems at all today other than very stressed about one of my dc.....

Yep, give it a wash with soapy water then douse it in boiled water from the kettle. Put the lid on it then just keep it close by. It's not a foolproof way of sterilising a container but it's enough if you need to provide a sample asap.

The smell just means it's fresh(ish) blood, I would think? It doesn't really matter. Have you called again?

You need to be seen but you aren’t listening

It doesn’t appear to be bleeding but hard to get a proper look whilst holding mirror plus torch.

I feel fine now since the last time I’m went to the toilet?

If you'd bled that much on the outside, I bet you'd see someone. Bleeding is bleeding, even when it's in your gut. And you can't see how much more there might be...

Did you eat anything different in the last 48hrs? Any raw vegetables, or food supplements? Did you do any physical exercise out of the ordinary?

I woukd use extra contraception this month if you missed a pill. The blood and mucous could be from the vagina but I'd just coming out when the bowel movement happens.

I had this a few months ago, on the thursday then again on sunday. I went to the gp on monday and he shrugged and said prob haemorrhoids, even when i emphasised how much blood. Ive since had a clear colonoscopy so think it must havs been a popped haemorrhoids x

I’m on my own so no chance of pregnancy but thank you.

I haven’t had it again but feel a bit sick or just like when you have an upset stomach? Uncomfortable?

I’ll see what I’m like in couple hours, I usually open my Bowels first thing...

It cane from no where. I eat raw vegetables all the time, didn’t eat anything different, don’t go the gym so haven’t ‘done’ anything to cause it. The day was normal other than being very stressed about dcs health!

If you are sick look out for coffee ground like vomit. Google it. I would advise you get checked out as you have pain too which would indicate issues in your digestive system. I understand you have DC but if you dont care for yourself then you could end up very very sick then who would look after them. See a doctor, get some treatment sooner to prevent further damage.

Thank you fluffy I hear what you are saying I really do. I feel fine now, Iv been up a little while now and no pain. Due to what the gp said about my dc how also had blood in his stool yesterday (isn’t that ironic?!?!) they weren’t bothered about it and he’s a child?
