Scared to leave my house

I feel so unwell, but I think it may be anxiety. I've become increasingly scared to leave my house, to the point where I haven't gone anywhere in a month.

I feel like my jaw starts clenching, like I'm losing control, my head starts spinning and I feel like I'm about to pass out.

I do not want to become a hermit, but feel that this is going to happen. I don't want to be on daily medication as this is another topic of anxiety for me. What can I do? Sad and does anyone understand what I mean by the jaw clenching/unable to control it? Almost like I am slurring my words.

So, I'm not a medical professional, but I do have anxiety disorder and experience panic attacks where I genuinely feel like I'm about to black out, and I get the general loss of control but not the jaw clenching personally, although anxiety can definitely cause you to clench your jaw or grind your teeth.
I do think a GP appointment is the best option - according to the NHS website here www.nhs.uk/conditions/agoraphobia/ you should be able to speak to them by telephone if you can't leave the house because of the problems you're experiencing, or at least to explain this to the receptionist so that they can sort something out for you.
With regards to being anxious about medication, that's understandable, and if you tell the GP you're anxious about the prospect of it then they can try and figure out a treatment pathway for you that doesn't involve medication. That said, I take medication now, although I was reluctant to at first, after talking therapy on its own wasn't enough, but if they know that's an anxiety topic for you then they can at least try to help you deal with that before putting you on any medication.

Also - you absolutely can get better and make progress with anxiety, and you aren't doomed to become a hermit at all, even if it feels like that now.
