Cluster of skin tags/warts? Photo...

Any ideas what these are? There on 12yo dds side. She's had them for about a month but the big one has started itching and is red.

I'll take her to the gp on Monday but wondered if anyone had any ideas. She wasn't bothered until someone at school said something.

Maybe try a pharmacist.

Molluscum contagiosum.

Harmless but annoying contagious skin complaint- my son has had it for a while now.

(I'm not a dr! But they look very familiar).

Aw bless her. I've no idea what they are but the GP will know. Has she been bitten by insects?

It's the dimple in the centre of the spots that is very recognisable.

Worth showing a pharmacist, but in my experience drs prefer to leave them alone, rather than try to get rid of them and irritate the skin in the process.

Yes, looks like molloscum. Relatively harmless but contagious and can spread quite alarming. They tend to get inflamed before they go but it can take months before they all go.
My dd got a nasty infection in one spot though and had to have it treated and get antibiotics so keep an eye on them

Molludab can help a bit

Get it diagnosed but if it is mollescum, the GP will tell you to leave it. It can take 6 months up to 2 years!

We took their advice but It spread to multiple places on my DS, it was very itchy and uncomfortable. Often scratching them in his sleep and making them bleed. I was going through daily bed clothes/sheet washing!

After desperately searching on Mumsnet, a few people mentioned Molludab. It's £24 on Amazon, but after 2 weeks treatment they subsided significantly. There are just a few left now but they're on their way out.
