Dental charge

Hi, I been to a dentist for an emergency appointment on 10th June , at that time I was on maternity exemption so didn't pay anything. Today again , i needed an emergency appointment and going to the same lady again, do I need to pay for my appointment this time? Or it would be covered in the 2 months dentist rule? My maternity exemption ended on 20th June.

The previous course of treatment was urgent, therefore whatever happens in this appointment wouldnt have been reasonably covered by the last course of treatment, so a new course of treatment is needed.

However it does depend what the problem is

As above, emergency treatment is usually chargeable each time, as it's a single appointment, not a course of treatment.

2 month rule doesn’t apply to emergency treatment band, so you’ll have to pay.
