Do pelvic floor exercises really work?

I know you should do the exercises, but for how long before there is a noticeable difference? Weeks, months?

Has anyone actually 'cured' stress incontinence just with exercises?

They worked for me post natally! Basically peed myself every day for the first two months but committed to the exercises and by six months post partum I was totally fine. Felt definite improvement after maybe three weeks of regular exercises although it seemed to get slightly worse at first. Used the NHS Squeezy app to remind me and started on the lowest settings and slowly built up. I’d say read as many descriptions of the exercises as possible so you’re completely confident you’re doing it right.

I second NHS Squeezy app, it's a few quid v well spent IMHO

Hmmm I don't know. Yes - do the squeezy exercises of course but I did all that after my DC - Infact I squeezed the hell out of my pelvic floor - still get oops moments when I sneeze or cough. Confused
