Pins and needles ??

Hi.

I get pins and needles in my hand for no reason at all, could be holding my phone to text and then I get pins and needles in my hand, could be just sitting and I get it, I don't have to lean on my arm to get them. Is this normal? I can't even get comfy at nights due to it. Worried it's something serious.

Whole hand or just some fingers?

moreismore · 10/05/2019 20:48

Worse at night?

Feels like the whole hand and it's rather annoying me now, every day! This time of night it comes on.. sometimes through out the day too.. as I'm typing this on my phone I have pins and needles in my right hand. My left hand is fine. What's wrong with me ?

Best guess would be carpal tunnel syndrome

It’s basically tight connective tissue where your nerves enter your hand at the wrist. It’s worse when your wrist is bent-like when using a phone or curled up to sleep. Splint, ice and gentle stretches usually cure it with time. It’s very common and nothing to worry about Smile

Ps you should be able to get splint and advice via pharmacy in first instance

Also can be calcium deficiency - very easy to treat!
