Hi all, has anyone used these? Ive just sent for one for cholesterol and liver function so wondered how easy they are.

Super easy. Read through the instructions when they arrive, and do the test the next morning as you need 8 hours fast beforehand. Just follow the instructions and it only needs about six to ten drops of blood (per tube if you have more than one).

The way the results come back is also really easy to read. They have a doctor comment on the results and give thumbs up or recommendations. If you do followup tests (I just did my third) they do graphs of the change over time as well - handy for me as the things I need to work on are cholesterol levels.

Follow all the hints they give for filling the tube, that's the only problem I have with these tests! Apart from that, simple to do/send, and they're so quick with the results.

You get little spring-loaded lancets to do the finger prick so it's pretty foolproof, and worst case scenario is you have to do more than one to get enough blood. I am apparently not a good bleeder lol, but have done about 5 tests so far and never not managed it

Brill thanks both

I have real problems gathering enough blood for a sample. I'm fed up stabbing my finger so I've given up. I follow all the tips and I still clot too quickly. When they work the tests are good and the results are easy to understand.

I love Thriva - I have been using them quarterly for a couple of years now
