Do you mean happy or unhappy? I can't tell for sure if you want to lose weight.

I am 5"6 and weigh 17 stone. I have binge eating disorder so I can say honestly that I eat huge amounts at times. I perhaps don't eat much in the day, but once I start bingeing I do, even if it's not daily.

I suppose my question is can you write down what you eat in a typical day and honestly say it's a healthy amount?

If so, there may be an underlying health issue, but this is very rare, and it's even rarer for it to cause an extreme amount of weight gain.

Most people are eating too much.

There are a couple of easy things you can do

1 stop having sugar in your drinks- that alone puts you at 30gms sugar a day which is the maximum for adults (for health.)

2 Stop buying chocs.

You are clearly eating too much and too much of high calorie foods.

Focus on:
plain meat, fish, eggs,
loads of fresh veg
fruit
plain yoghurt

Cut out the chips.

Can you always have some salad leaves in the fridge and something to have with them? A piece of poached salmon? Grilled chicken breast?

I think you need to completely re-educate yourself over what you eat.

Have you seen My Fitness Pal online?

You are a great fellow! I personally always bring myself up when I drink a lot of water.
