Hello,

I know there's many prolapse etc type threads (think I've read most of them!) but not finding much in the way of my particular problem.

I am 9 weeks postpartum, difficult forceps birth and a number of infections afterwards. Also had that 'falling out' feeling from early on and suspected something not right. Physio has confirmed mild/moderate anterior prolapse and I've been religiously doing pelvic floor exercises since - currently on a 3/5 for PV strength when checked.

The falling out / something stuck feeling has lifted slightly, but I now need a wee basically every time I stand up or walk, even if I've just been. No incontinence as such, it feels like there will be leakage when I stand / sneeze but I don't think anything is actually coming out. It got so bad I went to gp for uti testing, she found leukocytes indicating infection or inflammation but no bacteria. Have taken 3 day courses of both Trimethoprim and Nitrofurantoin to no avail. Have tried double voiding too and no improvement. It's really getting me down now as I can't really go out with it and even walking about the house creates the feeling of uncomfortableness and sensation of needing to go. Also have awful thrush from the ABX and a dreadful cold too so really down in the dumps! I'm concerned it's starting to effect mental health as I have visions of never being able to go out properly again and I just want to get out and about with DD 😕

Anyone have anything similar? Preferably with a happy, non-surgical ending! Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure I can be of loads of help but if problems persist then I would push for a referral to the continence service, your doctor can refer you.
they can then hopefully get to the bottom of what's causing the issue.
It may be that you have urge incontinence or overactive bladder or something else.
There are lots of things that can be done so don't feel like you will have to just live with it.
