Is it normal to sweat this much at night?

When I'm woken up in the middle of deep sleep (due to baby crying) I'm absolutely drenched in sweat. Last night my clothes were soaked through and there was an puddle in the shape of my top half on my bedsheets. I only wear a thin sleep bra, thin vest and thin trousers to bed - I always used to be cold at night. I've not long moved from a draughty Victorian house to one that's much more insulated/less draughty so there's a bit of that.

I don't know if I always sweat this much at night and it just ... dries up? Soaks in? I dunno - by the time I wake up if I get to sleep a few hours. It's disgusting though. I definitely don't seem to have it if I sleep longer.

I'm not particularly overweight, size 10 with the tummy of a mum-of-two; i am unfit though. Normal feather duvet, not a memory foam mattress or anything. Just wondering why now (I'm 37 too so unlikely to be menopause?!)

Also itching and rashes.
You don't need all of those symptoms either.
I only had itching, tiredness, and then finally a lump on my collarbone.

I could have written your post OP, although I'm only 30. I think it's just due to low levels of oestrogen/hormonal changes (so similar to menopause). Hopefully will go when you eventually stop feeding
