Beige rough patches on boob. GP?

Noticed an increasing number of beige rough patches on the skin of my breasts (one on one; maybe six on the other?). They are small, fingernail size max, each. I have no irritation, and cannot detect any lumps.

Would you have this checked? And if so is it a GP / nurse or do breast clinics exist?

When I say beige, sort of a darker shade of skin. Sort of like if someone went up a shade or two when buying foundation.

Yes. I was told by a nurse this week about beat exams and she told me about what she described as orange peel skin. Hey it checked.

Ok. I will do. Thanks.

DD has this it’s a tingle infection

Kummerspeck · 30/01/2019 18:40

Yes, get it checked.

The fact that you have several patches over both breasts makes it probably more likely to be a simple skin complaint and less likely to be anything serious but why chance it?

Ah? Fungal infection treated with anti fungal cream

TulipsInbloom1 · 30/01/2019 18:42

Oh a fungal infection would be ideal! Gross of course but way better than the alternative!

I have a couple of these on one breast, I’ve had them for years. I asked a GP when they were new and she said they were ‘age spots’ but actually I suspect they may be little flat warts. They’ve never got worse, better or proliferated so I haven’t worried about them. I’d get yours checked though, just to make sure.

Ps I was about 30 when I first noticed them which is why I think age spots is probably wrong. On the other hand they do look like the sunspots you see on the back of older people’s hands.

I saw a rash online which looks incredibly similar, Tinea versicolour, and apparently is fungal so I may give some antifungal a try. The worry is the cause. The only cause on the list would be a compromised immune system yet I feelincredibly well!!
