Hello everyone,

Welcome to the new thread. Our previous one is here.

Anyone with any cancer is welcome, or anyone waiting for tests because they might have cancer. If you're new, just jump in wherever. Don't feel you need to catch up with previous posts. We talk a lot! Ask any questions you need to. Someone will hopefully have an answer. And feel free to post photos of cute pets too.

Whether you're new or not, it's helpful to post a little introduction on the new thread to save people trying to remember everyone's different diagnosis and treatment.

I may have some Buscopan somewhere, I'll have a look.

My colonoscopy is a week Friday. I'm trying not to worry too much as I know the majority of people who get referred are fine, but it's a niggle at the very least. I put the sick feeling (and change in bowel habits) down to anxiety for months, but I felt really sick after eating my lunch in the cinema the other day, and my attention was fully on the film until I felt sick, so I think it's physical but likely being exacerbated by anxiety.

Do you know what type of dog that is in your post on the previous page?

My step-son is desperate for a dog and has been for ages. But I live 20 miles away and I feel if I said I would ‘help out’, I would end up driving over there every weekday to walk the dog. My husband thinks I should be discouraging the dog discussions. My step-son says he feels lonely sometimes though which pulls at my heart strings!
