Wisdom tooth - any dentists around?

My top right wizzer has been through for a while. 2 years ago I got pericoronitis and antibiotics cleared it up but it's starting to be sore again. My mouth feels full. Kind of like it's growing further down? Can it emerge more years later?

It can grow a bit more, depends if there's anything opposite it or not. Or it could drift if there's nothing stopping it. They can move although often stay put.

But it might be that it's a bit swollen or the infection is meaning you are having difficulties opening and closing your mouth and it's making your mouth feel full. I would give it a really good clean, try get some corsodyl mouthwash under the gum and get a little brush, maybe like an ortho brush or a tepe brush under the gum to clean it all out.

If it doesn't settle get yourself to a dentist.

I can open and close and eat it just feels achy, mainly between top jaw and ear. I'll do a salt rinse and a swish with corsodyl.

I had this out of the blue two years ago - it was my gum rather than the tooth. My dentist cleaned it out with a tool (I think the thing they use to do a scale and polish) and flushed it out with Corsodyl. I took a week of amoxicillin, then went back for review, and she said she thought it was better out. I was horrified, but opted to have it done there and then. It was so quick and easy, I couldn’t believe it. One minute she was asking if I could feel anything sharp, the next she was asking if I wanted to see the tooth. (No.)
