Iv woken up around 4 am with severe pain around my ribs managed to stand up and breath through it, went to the toilet came back to bed and i was fine laying on my right side but as soon as i rolled onto my left the pain was un bearable I even woke my DH and DD up because i was so loud, the whole room started to spin and i got pins and needles in my hands, after around 3 minutes it all went away.... and other than feeling exhausted i feel fine.

Any ideas guys? 😩

You need to go to the doctor. It might be nothing, or it might be something.

flumpybear · 28/12/2018 06:54

HBd you been coughing as it could be a broken rib? I broke a rib it seems by coughing 😱

TinyMarie · 28/12/2018 06:54

You need to call the midwife. I know that pain under the ribs can be a sign of Pre-Eclampsia so best to get checked out with something like that.

Phone 111 now. You need to be checked out.

Oh sorry! I thought this on the Pregnancy thread. I would still get checked out and hope all is ok Smile

Gallstones?

123Namechang · 28/12/2018 07:32

@Karenspolos the doctors opens in half an hour so I will wait for them, i feel ok now not had any pain since.

I do have an umbilical hernia but it wasn't in that area, I'm very lucky to have an amazing GP so will see what they think, thanks everyone.
