Oh, poor thing. I'm sure they will fade in time anyway. You could try cocoa butter, but I'm not sure if suitable for 2 yrear old

Vitamin A cream from Holland and Barrett or aloe vera

ds has 2 on his face, they have faded lots and are now just little indentations, you don't really notice they are there. didn't use any cream on them. how noticeable are they through her hair?

moonshine · 25/06/2007 16:59

Not sure if you can truly get rid of chicken pox scars but when ds had an accident which resulted in a huge gash on his forehead, the doctor told us to rub pure vit E oil on it for several months every night. It's still there but it has faded to a very pale white line. He also has a chicken pox scar which again has faded to just being slightly ruddy. But loads of people have them - bet you just haven't really noticed .

They are quite noticeable but I hope as she gets older they will fade. I had one on me when I was sixteen and now and again I look at it!! Its on my cheek.

But thanks for the advice might go and get some Vitamin A cream.

moonshine, where did you get the vitamin e oil from?

moonshine · 26/06/2007 16:39

Cylonbabe - I just got it from a chemists - most good ones should sell pure essential oils.
