Methotrexate (low dose) unexplained bruising?

Evening, just wondered if anyone on low dose methotrexate has experienced this?
I've been on it for 3 months with no side effects but yesterday a big bruise appeared on my hand with no cause. This is the second one in the last couple of weeks soI saw an out of hours nurse who said to get a blood test on Monday so I've been proactive! But I wondered if anyone else has experienced this and what the end results were as I'm worrying this could be sinister!!
Thank you

No answer but I'm interested as I expect to start Methotrexate soon and I bruise very easily.

When you were first prescribed methotrexate you should have been told to report immediately if you experienced a sore throat, fever or unexplained bruising: www.arthritisresearchuk.org/~/media/Files/Arthritis-information/Drugs/Methotrexate%202247%2015-1.ashx

Methotrexate can cause bone marrow suppression, resulting in reduced numbers of leukocytes (hence risk of infection) and platelets (hence easy bruising). You need a blood test as soon as possible to check whether this has happened.

Yes, me. I was on methotrexate for a few months, I had bruising all over my legs and my hair was falling out and going very thin. They took me off it immediately. Get checked out.

I did get unexplained bruises to start but my bloods are fine (apart from a dip in something immune once)
