Can anyone help, please?
I have had a cold FOREVER and noticed my upper molars on the right were a bit achey/tender. I know the teeth have very long roots, close to the sinus cavity - but I know this because they were RCT by an endodontist earlier this year. One was a retreatment because he discovered a missed canal on the further forward one (it had RCT about 20 years ago) before treating the further back one which was the one giving me trouble. That was an expensive x-Ray! Anyway, I went to get them checked by my own dentist who x-rayed them and there is no sign of any tooth problems. She said it was sinus pressure. I am curious how this can be if the teeth are “dead”? The teeth have been completely pain free until the cold, both crowned now, and the crown prep was done with no anaesthetic so I assume I would have felt it if nerves were still there. I am also a clencher and wear a night guard religiously.
