Sounds exactly like what I'm having. (Am 28 weeks pg too so it's making me pretty tired and a bit worried). I usuallyhave no trouble from my asthma whatsoever - hadn't take my inhaler for months until today. Wonder what it is? (presume you're in the UK? I'm not). No tips either - but having a nice hot shower while dh and ds had a bath in the same room helped - the steam, I suppose.

am in the uk yes and also usually have no probs. took the dose of my evening one early tonight to see if it helped but its not.

Can't do a steamy shower as DP out and don't want to make things worse when he isn't in!

Odd, isn't it? Have a soreish throat too, so assumed I was getting a cold, but no runny nose, no nothing.

Hope you feel better soon

mwakamom - I am an asthmatic but thought I had grown out of it as I've been ok for a few years until recently. I had a bit of an asthma attack last weekend. My inhaler wasn't making a difference and then run out. I got a prescription for a new one today and my breathing has eased. In the meantime, I had to improvise. I took an antihistamine tablet. I was having trouble sleeping so I also took some of my dd's Medised which sends you to sleep and propped myself up with pillows in bed. I managed to fall asleep and felt better in the morning. I think the recent stormy weather must be affecting the pollution and pollen levels.

why coffee? what does that do? I don't like it really.

I am feeling better breathing wise now. It took a while for my chest to untighten enough for me to sleep though and am still slightly light headed today.
