OMG WHAT IS THIS

Well, I have no idea if this is in the correct thread but I got diagnosed with fungal dermatitis 4 days ago...cream and antibiotics-it's now SPREADING! I feel so unwell too! (Tired, very tired and general poorly feeling). Does it look like dermatitis? I will be going to GP tomorrow but just for some reassurance now lol....

I once had something like that. It started on my back and arms. For me it was Scarlet Tina. Started with a sore throat. It was bloomin itchy but if I scratched it, it felt like I’d been stung by stinging nettles. My legs particularly swelled up a little so really uncomfortable wearing clothes. I hope you feel better really soon.

It's not painful- more of an annoying frustrating itch! I feel rubbish in myself though

If its already spreading to your legs then please get it seen, your nurse friend will say the same.

My son had cellulitis. He was told to draw round it with biro which he did and they could see how much it had spread. He needed antibiotics and was ok thankfully but you need it checked out ASAP

Call 111 now, it sometimes takes ages, your nurse friend will understand.

Last Sunday I called out of hours at three and was called back by the doctor at 11.10. They said they had no doctor available until after 2am :/ I have severe and complex health problems/ terminally ill and didn't get to see anyone :(

It may be uritcaria as well...that can spread quite quickly

Gosh yes you def need to be seen with that. Hope you're on the mend soon.

It looks more like an allergic or irritated reaction to me, not cellulitis.

Glad you got it sorted and they know what it is, I didn't know adults got it too, make sure you get some rest and recover quickly
