For some reason I am experiencing a flare up of all 3 at the same time. In fact I feel like I have hayfever constantly. Any recommendations on treating the root cause?

In addition my back and knees feel stiff recently. I am 40. About 4 years ago I went to the GP and I was referred to a rheumatologist but nothing was found. I think it's strange I have all these symptoms at once. Anyone any experience?

I will see a GP but it will take weeks.

I have had rosacea and blepharitis at the same time. I'm not sure what the connection is, but I have read that others experience it too. I think it's worse when I'm run down, so maybe an auto immune response to stress, lack of sleep etc? I got metronidazole cream for the rosacea (worked a treat) and hot cloth cleansing my face seemed to mostly clear up the blepharitis. I still don't have good eyelashes tho 😫
If you have any tips that work please share!!

Your blepharitis could be ocular rosacea, so defo a link there! Otherwise I’m not sure about a link with dandruff and joint pains, other than being generally run down? Are there any particular triggers for your rosacea that could be related?

My big triggers are wine and sunshine, which is v irritating but I’m too lazy (and refluxy) to take my lymecycline regularly so there you go

Coming on to second that your blepharitis is probably ocular rosacea.

I have a flare up of both at the moment it seems to always be this time of year be it the weather changing, central heating coming on or mould outside I never know

I thought ocular too but GP never seems bothered. Trying Dermalex and reducing caffeine. I think stress, central heating and sent are triggers. Sent is the worst.

Unfortunately the true root cause is still unknown, but they do know rosacea and blepharitis are linked.
Also, I’ve read studies which suggest seborrhoeic dermatitis (dandruff) may have a comorbidity with rosacea - possibly due to an increased immune response to harmless microbes (malassezia and demodex)
I’ve heard sulphur can be quite effective for rosacea, also warm compressed for the eyes

I can recommend warm teabags on the eyes.
