hes 2 teething snotty and tyred just given calpol it was a underarm thermometer and cant remember how accurate they are?

calpol stabilises a temp .. nurofen reduces it

its not that high I wouldn't worry

personally I'd ignore thermometer and go by child and kiss test

sorry I meant how the child is acting .. if they're lethargic or in distress ( a parent knows)

the kiss test is just how warm they feel against your lips (particularly the back of neck) .. you can feel a temp

we have an ear thermometer ..

Underarm temp is less than oral-I think you have to add 0.6 deg to get the oral equivalent.

well hes sitting watching the tv when he would normally be playing eyes are red lookes shattered even thou he had a nap eirler temp gone up to 38.9 typical dp started 12 hour night shift tonight

cant give him nurofen alergic and only just gave calpol
