Just been put on prolonged release morphine with liquid morphine to top up - how long does it take for the prolonged release to kick in?

Been 1.5 hours and I’m still so sore but not sure it should give it longer before having the liquid?

Thankfully I’m coping better with the lesser dose of the liquid morph so shouldn’t need sickness meds.

Unfortunately I’ve now got new bloody pain in behind ribs (left side again) when I lie down or breath out - honestly feel it’s never ending & I’m going to look like I’m making it up as I go along.

Could any of the new pains be from holding yourself differently with the other pains?

Good theory jelly! Could well be although it’s sharp pains rather than muscle feeling if that makes sense.

Yes that is clear. Maybe endo or adhetions?

In ended up at out of hours again, getting a chest X-ray.

Endo almost been dismissed here - along with everything else I seem to say! Hopefully if the X-ray doesn’t show anything then gynae will be helpful when I see them.

Sorry to hear you were at the ooh again. I assume the xray has been useful in ruling stuff out.

I know what you mean about being dismissed and created a topic in general health to provide a space to discuss endo and its wierd and wonderful symptoms.
