What vitamins/supplements do you take?

Just wondering how many vitamins/supplements other people take compared to me. I was wondering if there was a limit on what you can take?
I take Iron, vitamin D, Acidophilus, digest enzymes and apple cider vinegar in water twice a day. I've been looking at other vitamins / supplements to take for Candida in the body but not sure if I can add anymore? I'm asthmatic and have an under active thyroid.

Vitamin D, B12, folate and liquid iron with other vitamins in that.

Sometimes zinc if I can be bothered!

And a probiotic.

None!

I’m treating a candida overgrowth right now with very low carbs and very low sugar for a few months (not even fruit). I take magnesium, vit d, fish oils, b complex, b12 and at night iron. I understand I don’t take the acidophilus until you have cleared out the candida x

Cod liver oil, magnesium and B12.

MistressDeeCee · 11/10/2018 23:02

Multi-Vit & Minerals
Cod Liver Oil
Spirulina (this for past 3 months)

I've not had Candida nor heavy cold or flu for more years than I can remember

Eloisedublin.. I was recommended the Acidophilus in the health shop after explaining I had just been diagnosed with severe Candida in the esophagus? I'm also been low carb for about 8 years but I still had a severe case of it maybe caused by asthma inhalers my doctor thinks. How did you know you had an overgrowth of Candida?
It's hard to know what I should be taking I have read so many different things.

I would suggest finding yourself a nutritional therapist who can help with with a nutrition and supplement protocol. The cost of the therapist will be saved when you are on a correct supplement regime instead of trying a bit of this and a touch of that.

I rattle around most days on all sorts. I am trained though so know what I'm taking and for what.

You can waste so much money on supplements when good dietary changes with some additional supplements can effect great change.

Good luck, hope you feel better soon.

I had pretty textbook symptoms and a nutritionist diagnosed it. Read up on the “good bacteria”. I understand (but might be wrong) that stage a) is a really good cleanse, stage b) is anti fungals like oil of oregano and garlic etc and c) then add in all the good bacteria again slowly

I take a multi vit and mineral in one, slow release vit b, acidophilus and a digestive enzyme. I will take additional vit c and zinc if I am unwell.

Oh, and flaxseed oil when I remember!
