I would - but check with your pharmacist first

ELF1981 · 13/06/2007 20:09

is it over the counter stuff?
there is a hv clinic tomorrow so I could pop there, but would they just send me to the chemist?

Horrible, horrible, horrible i know, yuck, yuck, yuck! The tablets they give you at the pharmacist say they are only suitable from 2 years. my dd got worms and i crushed the tablet up and put it into her yoghurt. i think she was a few weeks off her birthday but i couldn't bear to leave it.

you can buy ovex in a liquid, it tastes a little like rennies.

Did anyone else look at this title & wonder if a thread worm was someone like a troll that goes round from thread to thread spreading something nasty?

I've either been working with computers, or coming on MN too much......

I used Pripsen - think that can be used on young ones

kath81 · 14/06/2007 10:36

Ive given my ds ((17 months) the pripsen sachets, it says to give at as a drink but is minging so i mix it with yogurt, you have to repeat it after 2 weeks to catch any that may have hatched. horrible things
