Impacted wisdom tooth.. waterpik any good!?

My wisdom teeth have been coming through for nearly 4 years now. 3 have made it through and one is impacted causing me really bad breath even ten minutes after brushing. No matter what I do salt water, mouthwash ect I can't kill it. The dentist cannot take it out as the tooth is impacted and very close to a nerve so a high risk of nerve damage.

Does anybody have anything that could help as really have had enough of bad breath and taste!! I've just heard about waterpik? Has anybody used it for this problem and it solved it? I will try anything😩😩😩😩

They should refer you to a dental hospital to have it taken out.
I had exactly the same thing with a flap of gum covering the wisdom tooth which had only popped through a tiny bit.
It used to smell and get painful.
They should refer you to have it removed.

@whirlingandwhirling I did get referred years ago but the person at the hospital recommended not getting it out as very close to a nerve ☹️

Oh no.
Is it worth going again to see if technology etc has changed if it was a few years ago?
Or the teeth may have moved.
Having mine out was genuinely worse than a c section. I cried for about a week, but I’m so glad I did it.
No pain, no smells, no food getting caught.
Sorry I can’t help with waterpik advice.

@whirlingandwhirling thank you. I'm booked into the dentist in two weeks so going to make sure something gets done as can't stand it any longer!! Xx
